Yes, it is possible to experience a bobsled ride in the summer, and yes, it's worth every penny! We saved 20% on the price of our ride, because we bought the Olympic Sites Passport. The summer rides start from the 1/2 mile start on the bobsled track from the '32 and '80 Olympics. We rode down in a bobsled on wheels, and we had a blast!!

I have always watched the bobsled and luge during the winter Olympics and was impressed. After seeing the actual place where the races took place I know that this is an "extreme" sport. We visited the area to experience a little bit of Olympic history; however, did not ride the coaster. It looks somewhat like a roller coaster.
