The Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is a body-on-frame mid-size SUV produced by the Japanese manufacturer Mitsubishi Motors using the Pajero nameplate since 1996. Based on the Triton pickup truck, the Pajero Sport has spanned over three generations.
The first generation Mitsubishi Pajeros debuted in 1981 and officially launched to the public in 1982. Initially this model was a three door vehicle with a short wheelbase and came with a metal or canvas top. The first generation Pajero had three different engine options to choose from.

4 Απρ 2022 · All Pajero models came standard with a two-speed transfer case. Four engine configurations were available for the second generation Pajero. Diesel engines came in 2.8 and 2.5-liters. The 2.8TD engine made 125 Hp and 215 lb-ft of torque, while the smaller 2.5TD made 99 ponies and 177 lb-ft of torque. Gas engines came in 3.0 or 3.5-liter V6 units.
