8 Δεκ 2017 · I've searched the forum numerous times about the known MPI headgasket failure, but I'm still not sure about the right -final- (and revised?) torque for these head bolts. I just want to check if they are still tight enough after a mechanic replaced the HG some time ago.
31 Ιαν 2022 · My 2010 Getz 1.4 had blown a head gasket. Now I am in desperate need of the torque settings for the cylinder head. If I can get all the torque settings, I will be in the verry happy.

15 Οκτ 2019 · I am getting ready to replace the heads, timing chains, etc on my son-in-law's 2001 4.7 Grand Cherokee Jeep that we think has a blown head gasket. The manual I have says the steps to torque the heads are: Step 1: Tighten bolts 1-10 to 15 ft. lbs. Step 2: Tighten bolts 1-10 to 35 ft lbs, tighten bolts 11-14 to 18 ft lbs.
18 Ιουλ 2014 · Chilton Manual has this info regarding torque specs: 1. Install the cylinder head with a new gasket. 2. For 1.5L engines, tighten the bolts in sequence to 51–54 ft. lbs. (71–75 Nm). 3. For 1.6L engines, tighten the bolts, in sequence, to 26 ft. lbs. (35 Nm) plus 75 degrees. Loosen the bolts and retorque to 26 ft. lbs. (35 Nm) plus 75 ...
