Since March 12, 2020, Puerto Rico continues to be in a state of emergency due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To that end, this Executive Order is issued in order to establish certain measures that are necessary for addressing the emergency declared in Administrative Bulletin OE-2020-020.

Currently, from December 27, 2021, to January 02, 2022: Puerto Rico has a 30.3% positivity rate in molecular tests and an incidence of 571 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, which places us at a high level of transmission.

Government of Puerto Rico has implemented measures to address the emergency. On March 12, 2020, the Government of Puerto Rico issued Administrative Bulletin OE-2020-020 through which formally declared a state of emergency due to the imminent impact of the coronavirus in Puerto Rico.
