The popular Misol-Ha waterfall is 30 km south of Palenque, while Agua Azul is 68 km away. This area is rich in natural beauty, surrounded by dense jungle.

Agua Azul along with Palenque were my 2 favorite spots to visit in Mexico. After several drownings, Agua Azul no longer allows unlimited access and swimming in and around the falls. It sucks, but all the swimming is at the bottom and top of the main area now.
