I think Frangipani is one of the best resorts on the island. Scott and Shannon are hands on owners, their service is unsurpassed, and their location on Meads is on one of the best parts of the beach, flat, with no berm and right next to Straw Hat restaurant.

Answer 1 of 3: I was reading the reviews for Fragipani and one person said that the water had "high waves and an under toe". Another person said it was deep. I really love to spend the day in the ocean. Is this place for me? My other choice right now...
I heard back from Frangipani and they, too, have availability for my dates (1/3--1/6 after 3 nites in SXM---see my other post titled Shoal Bay Villas) So, we prefer to be walking distance in the evenings due to wine/cocktails at dinner.
We are planning on staying at Frangipani in July of this year and are interested in a King Jr. Suite. Has anyone stayed in that room type? Any recommendations of what room we should ask for?
