With each week’s episode unfolding in real time, “24” covers a single day in the life of Bauer each season. Jack deals with assassination attempts, nuclear attacks, bioterrorism, torture, traitors, sleeper cells, other bad guys and the alarming tendency for his romances to end badly — very badly.
Jack Bauer is the main protagonist of the show 24, protrayed by the actor Kiefer Sutherland. He is a CTU field agent who has been on and off with his job throughout the seasons. He has been in every episode of 24 to date.
