13 Απρ 2024 · Use the division symbol to type a fraction. This may be done by first typing the numerator (the top number of the fraction), the forward slash key (/), and the denominator (the bottom number of a fraction). An example would look like 5/32.
13 Οκτ 2018 · A good rule of thumb is to simply make the font size 50% of whatever type size your normal text is. For instance, if your text is 10-point, you would use 5-point; if it is 11-point, you would use 5.5-point.

Fractions can be represented in several ways: spelled out, using decimals, by diagonal or slashed fractions, by stacked or nut fractions, or by horizontal fractions. Knowing which form to use and how to locate or create numerical fractions is key to creating the most visually pleasing typography.
8 Μαΐ 2013 · Basic fractions like ¼, ½, and ¾ are standard in many fonts in all formats. Extended fractions are found in many (but not all) OpenType fonts. They often include 1/8, 3/8, 5/8, 7/8, and sometimes 1/3 and 2/3. Arbitrary fractions include anything and everything else, such as 18/256.
1 Αυγ 2020 · The simplest way to write fractions in Microsoft Word is to just use a forward slash between the numerator and denominator (i.e., the two numbers that make up a fraction): Add 2/3 of a cup of buttermilk to the flour mixture. This will be fine in most cases, especially in less formal writing.
