12 Απρ 2023 · After upgrading the Firebase packages version from the previous version to the new version, when trying to log in using Firebase on Android, I encounter the error message "SMS verification code request failed: unknown status code: 17499 Internal error encountered" in the console.

18 Μαΐ 2021 · When trying to authenticate with a test number through the authentication emulator I'm hit with this error: [authentication] emulator phone gives error: SMS verification code request failed: unknown status code: 17499 Cleartext HTTP traffic to 10.0.2.2 not permitted.
4 Οκτ 2021 · When I try to send an SMS OTP Verification, these errors appear. The Project is connected with firebase. The google-services.json file is added to the Project. 26 Ιουλ 2023 · If you're not receiving verification code texts on Android, reboot your phone, turn off airplane mode, double-check your phone number, make sure you can receive messages, clear your text message inbox, unblock unknown senders, or check with your cell phone carrier.
