8 Μαρ 2017 · It seems to me like this is an update for the Sync 2 systems - which we have in our trucks ('13-'16) - but it is VERSION 3.1, rather than an actual software or firmware change to Sync 3 - which is the latest and greatest system.

14 Ιουν 2023 · I believe the SYNC 2 system has been discontinued for support, but in our cars the GPS (and other features?) I believe is stored in an SD card. We used to get updates on these, but not anymore. Anyone know if there is a way to update the GPS maps for it though?
30 Μαρ 2021 · INSTRUCTIONS. Take the USB drive with the software updates to your vehicle. Turn on your vehicle, and then turn on the radio. Make sure your vehicle is in a well-ventilated area. Your vehicle will need to be turned on, with the engine running between ten and thirty five minutes. Make sure that your vehicle is not in Accessory mode.
22 Ιουλ 2021 · Within the past few months I upgraded my 2013 Energi from Sync 2/MyFord Touch to Sync 3 and have bumped it up to the latest 3.4 version thanks to the work of the dudes over at CyanLabs and their Syn3updater tool.
30 Μαρ 2019 · Firstly, if I check via the Ford online website, my chassis number is input and it says I have the latest version of Sync 2, no updates. However, a bit of research in this forum suggests there is a later version by following a link.
12 Φεβ 2019 · Below are my forscan changes from the conversion to Sync 2 to Sync 3. Everything works great after allot of trial and error. Hopefully this will help some of you when making the change.
