Vaccinated and unvaccinated travellers are welcome to experience Abu Dhabi with no restrictions. As of 7 November 2022, almost all Covid-19 restrictions in Abu Dhabi have been lifted meaning green status on the Al Hosn app and negative PCR tests are no longer required to enter Abu Dhabi attractions.
From 1 February 2021, you have 48 hours to cross into Abu Dhabi with a negative PCR result, or 24 hours from receiving a DPI result. You will need to present a photo ID – be it your Emirates ID card (EID) or a passport with your test result, with yout name in Arabic or English.

14 Ιαν 2022 · People taking a taxi or bus from Dubai to Abu Dhabi must remember that land border checks are in place to control the spread of the coronavirus. All taxi passengers and the driver must have green status on Al Hosn, the UAE’s Covid-19 status and tracing app.
23 Ιαν 2022 · Fully vaccinated and unvaccinated international travellers coming into Abu Dhabi via Dubai or other emirates will need to follow the same guidelines as the vaccinated and unvaccinated international travellers flying direct, plus a few additional on-ground measures, including: 1. The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee (NCEMA) removed all entry rules for Abu Dhabi effective from 26th February 2022. Earlier, all those entering Abu Dhabi from within the UAE had to undergo EDE scanning and a rapid antigen test.
