2 Νοε 2020 · Windows 10 Map App has same incorrect location. I have done the location set/reset. set the default location to the PC's location, cleared location history, stopped syncing, run SFC /SCANNOW, chkdsk, etc. to no avail, i.e. PC location is incorrect.

6 Μαρ 2021 · I have correctly set "default location" in Win 10 settings. It is not being used and is most probably overriden by "exact location" algorithm. Public geoIP locators on the web give better position than Win 10. Google Chrome provides correct location (see below).
18 Απρ 2020 · I know it’s an old post, but did you ever solve this? My Windows 10 laptop suddenly started locating me over 600 miles away from my actual location. This happens using the Windows 10 weather app or any web site relying on location data in Microsoft Edge. I don’t have that problem in Chrome.
