2 Μαΐ 2016 · Welcome to The Indigo Book—a free, Creative Commons-dedicated implementation of The Bluebook’s Uniform System of Citation. The Indigo Book was compiled by a team of students at the New York University School of Law, working under the direction of Professor Christopher Jon Sprigman.
We define standard legal documents as documents created for practical law-related purposes such as court filings, legal memoranda, legal analysis, and other forms of legal information that require or benefit from a technically precise and commonly understood citation format.

The IndigoBook is a free and open statement of the “Bluebook” rules that are commonly applied to US legal resources. The first (and current) edition is the creation Christopher Sprigman and a team of students at New York University, published by Carl Malamud at PublicResource.org .
Newton’s first law of motion: body at rest remains at rest or, if in motion, remains in motion at constant velocity unless acted on by a net external force; also known as the law of inertia: Newton’s second law of motion
Newton’s first law states that unless a body (such as a rubber ball, car, or planet) is acted upon by some force, a body in motion tends to remain in motion and a body at rest tends to remain at rest. This postulate is known as the law of inertia.
