For checked baggage, Southwest Airlines offers a generous policy. Each passenger is allowed to check up to two bags, with a maximum weight of 50 pounds (23 kilograms) and maximum dimensions of 62 inches (158 cm) in overall length, width, and height.
30 Ιουν 2023 · Checked baggage is free on Southwest and they are the only airline to allow 2 bags for all fare types. Checked bags must adhere to a max weight of 50 pounds and max linear dimensions of 62 inches. Passengers can book 3+ bags for $75 apiece.
If any portion of your itinerary contains an international flight and you plan to check luggage, you will be required to do so at the Southwest Airlines Ticket Counter upon arrival at the airport. You cannot checkin or check luggage at the curbside if traveling on an international itinerary.
