We may require a carry-on bag to travel as a checked bag if it cannot be safely stowed on a particular flight. Checked bags: Maximum of 62 linear inches (length + width + height; 158 cm) including handles and wheels and maximum of 50 pounds (22.6 kg) in weight.
You can check in as many bags as you like up to the weight allowance for your travel class. Each individual bag must not weigh more than 32kg. The weight concept applies to all routes, except when you travel to and from the Americas and from Africa (for tickets issued before 9 August 2021).
If you are accessing your reservation less than 24 hours prior to departure, simply go to the Online Check-in tab and follow the instructions to access your reservation. You can then click the "Add Bags" link to purchase additional bags. Remember to purchase your bags in advance to save more!
Checking a bag? Visit a Spirit kiosk at the airport to print your own bag tags and tag your own bags. Make a quick stop at Bag Drop, where you present your ID & your boarding pass (paper or mobile ).

If you're checking in bags, drop them at the Emirates check‑in desks no later than 90 minutes before your flight. Complete your security check no later than 60 minutes before departure. Boarding starts 45 minutes before your flight, and gates close 20 minutes before departure.
