The Tom Joyner Morning Show was an American nationally syndicated radio program, hosted by veteran broadcaster Tom Joyner. The program, which aired on Urban contemporary - and Urban adult contemporary -formatted stations across the United States, ran from January 3, 1994 until December 13, 2019.
Thomas Joyner (born November 23, 1949) is an American radio personality, host, philanthropist and former musician. Joyner is the former host of the nationally syndicated The Tom Joyner Morning Show, and also founder of Reach Media Inc., the Tom Joyner Foundation, and BlackAmericaWeb.com.

During the mid-1980s Joyner earned his stripes as the “Fly Jock, the hardest-working man in radio.” He offered a “morning” show at KKDA in Dallas and an “afternoon” show at WGCI in Chicago.
In January of 1994, Joyner began syndicating The Tom Joyner Morning Show to 29 stations. Joyner’s new show offered a mix of music, comedy, guests—ranging from Stevie Wonder to Tipper Gore—and occasional discussions of social or political issues. Today, Joyner’s show is heard on over 110 stations.
