Spirit Air Review. I felt the need to post this because of everything I read previously about Spirit. My wife and I took a vacation to Cancun from 4/2 to 4/9. We were flying from Newark, and decided to fly Spirit because the prices to fly other airlines was literally a matter of thousands of dollars otherwise.
Spirit isn’t going out of business. They have had some cash flow issues, which they unfortunately kind of ignored assuming the merger with JetBlue was going through, but now that it’s over they are back to focusing on revenue/cash etc and it’s gonna take a while.
Lounges are closed and perks are being trimmed so figure out what's important to you and find the airline that matches your needs. Spirit is fine and the big seat (i think that's what it's called) is about the same as business class on most 737's. If you're trying so save money, compare all the costs.
