Affordable access to 17 professionally equipped studios designed for a variety of visual art media, including: clay, creative writing, digital media, drawing + painting, fiber, flameworking, glass, letterpress, metals, darkroom photography, printmaking and wood.
Since 1971, the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (VCCA) has provided uninterrupted time and space for artists to produce the finest works of literature, visual art, and music.
The Visual Arts Center of Richmond is a 30,000-square foot arts center with 17 teaching studios and our True F. Luck Gallery.
Art Classes. The professional artists teaching at The Center focus on providing individualized attention to each student. We have classes for preschoolers, elementary students, teens, and adults.
The Center for Creative Arts offers private music lessons and group art classes to over 200 students in the West End of Richmond! Our Music Recitals are offered twice yearly - in December, and in the spring.
The Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (VCCA) is a residential artist community in Amherst, Virginia, USA. Since 1971, VCCA has offered residencies of varying lengths with flexible scheduling for international artists, writers, and composers at its working retreat in the foothills of Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains.
