Accession is the entry or re-entry (prior service) into Air Force Reserves. The commissioning of every Air Force Reserve officer is predicated on an approved original appointment for the specific grade in which the nominee is accessed.

Air Force Special Warfare (AFSPECWAR) continues to refine its academic year and summer programs to help AFROTC and USAFA cadets prepare to be Special Tactics Officers (STOs), Tactical Air Control Party Officers (TACPOs), and Combat Rescue Officers (CROs).
What you’ll do. Perform and lead airfield operations functions of air traffic control and airspace management. Advise commanders on the effective use of airfield operations assets. Provide staff leadership, supervision and technical assistance.
