Charges are calculated based on standard bag sizes for flights, per person, each way. You can pay for bags online ahead of time when traveling on eligible American Airlines marketed and operated flights.
Your personal item like a purse or small handbag must fit under the seat in front of you. Dimensions should not exceed 18 x 14 x 8 inches (45 x 35 x 20 cm). American Airlines (AA) allows 1 carry-on bag and 1 personal item (purse, briefcase, laptop bag) per passenger fee free. Carry-on should not exceed the following size and weight restrictions: 45 linear inches (22 x 14 x 9 in) or 115 centimeters (56 x 36 x 23 cm) including handles and wheels.
The dimensions of the bag should not exceed 62 linear inches (158 cm) when adding the length, width, and height. Additional fees may apply for bags exceeding the weight or size limits. For international flights, the baggage allowance may vary depending on the destination and class of service.
23 Ιουν 2023 · The carry-on size limit is 22 x 14 x 9 inches, including handles and wheels. Soft-sided garment bags (up to 51 inches) can also be taken as your carry-on item. The personal item size limit is 18 x 14 x 8 inches. Your personal item must fit under the seat in front of you.
