24 Ιουλ 2018 · I'm confused about the size restrictions of checked luggage and I'm hoping you can help me. I just purchased a new samsonite 29" spinner suitcase for our upcoming trip. I know the airline policy is 62" and my suitcase would be just under that at 61.5.
30 Ιουν 2023 · Checked baggage is free on Southwest and they are the only airline to allow 2 bags for all fare types. Checked bags must adhere to a max weight of 50 pounds and max linear dimensions of 62 inches. Passengers can book 3+ bags for $75 apiece.

10 Απρ 2024 · With the Southwest Airlines baggage policy, most travelers will find their checked bags will fly for free. Whether checking your bags or carrying them on, as long as they fall within the airline's very reasonable limits, you won't need to use your credit card to pay for baggage fees.
If any portion of your itinerary contains an international flight, you must check luggage at the ticket counter. If your itinerary for travel into the United States includes a connection, you must claim all luggage, regardless of final destination, upon arrival in the U.S.
