Southwest makes it easy to check available travel funds from unused or canceled flight reservations. View funds and use them toward your next getaway.
If you cancel your booking within 24 hours of booking, you can choose either to a) receive a method-of-payment refund or b) hold the value of the ticket as a flight credit or Transferable Flight Credit TM (depending on the fare) to buy a future flight.

10 Μαΐ 2021 · A travel fund created after March 1, 2020 should have an expiration date of September 2022. Double check your expiration date and date you cancelled the flight. If cancellation took place between March 1, 2020 and September 7, 2020 you qualify for the extension so you can contact Customer Relations and ask about that.
