Became a branch manager within a year, jumped into car sales (started to hate daily rental) for 6 months and then left the company. I had a good time at enterprise and met good people. Its been a while since i last worked there but i still keep in contact with many of my former coworkers (they have since left erac).
I just received an offer for a position with Enterprise Rent-A-Car as a management trainee. The starting pay is $51,300 per year ($20.77 per hour) for a minimum of 45 hours per week. I have read many negative reviews from individuals who have experienced burnout due to the long hours and dealing with upset customers.
It's basically a bootcamp where you learn sales and leadership skills at Enterprise rent a car. I have read online that it's long hours, menial work like washing cars in business clothes, and pushing insurance policies.
I am a fresh management trainee for an Enterprise rent-a-car. I started about 3 weeks ago. I was fresh out of college and wasn’t getting many offers in my field (HR) and thought enterprise seems like a decent opportunity.
Only difficulties are dealing with customers but that's any retail sales position, you just get used to it once you get a thick skin and leave work at work. I would recommend the position to anyone, it's very rewarding and educational, and looks great on a resume if you do end up choosing to leave.
A lot of job reviews consistently claimed that there's ~11 hour work days, sometimes you work Saturdays, you will wash cars in your suit, you have to deal with tough customers, and employees claimed that they don't get nearly as paid as they should be. Does anyone have any advice on this?
