17 Σεπ 2010 · FlightWise.com, with some help from Google, has just released a very nice KML that shows thousands of near real-time flights over the United States.
16 Σεπ 2010 · The KML file is created from data available on the Flightwise website, which they collect from the FAA every few minutes. Hover over an airplane icon to see the airline, flight number, and up-to-date path.
10 Νοε 2012 · Hit it and download the .kml file and open it in Google Earth. The flight route will be displayed on the map. On the top of the page will be a slider that you can slide to the time you took your picture. The “pin” will move to the point on the map that corresponds to the time.

18 Οκτ 2010 · I really like how you can download KML files of the flights for Google Earth. One issue I have is that the grayness underneath the flight path is opaque. In FlightWise, it is semi-clear green, which I like better. FlightWise also has an option to see all live flights within a given radius in Google Earth.
