1-star. 74% Filter. Sort: Most relevant. Peter Nguyen. 2 reviews. US. 11 hours ago. We had a great flight with Norse, from NYC to Rome. We booked late for our first ever Europe trip, so we didn't want to buy expensive tickets. We took a risk going with Norse, since it's cheap, about $250 one way.
Unfortunately at 7am (10 hours before my flight) I received an email that my flight is delayed 7 hours. From 5pm to 1120pm. This caused me to cancel my connector (I was not refunded) and I had to book another.
I was dreading flying with Norse after reading the reviews (AFTER booking), but we actually had a pretty good experience. Flying out there were no queues at check in, nothing to complain of there. Being a budget airline, I knew they wouldnt provide free food so we bought our own - no problem there.
This is my first low-cost Transatlantic flight, and I was unfortunate enough to have chosen Norse Atlantic Airways. These people are thiefs, and their staff doesn't seem to have ANY idea about customer support.

Avoid Norse Atlantic Airways at all costs! Their customer support is non-existent, and their dishonesty is shocking. They randomly cancel flights without warning or compensation, leaving you stranded and scrambling for expensive last-minute tickets from other airlines and connection flights.
