2 Δεκ 2020 · The first phase of the Interstate 11 project between Phoenix and Las Vegas – a 15-mile, $318 million segment in Nevada – has been under construction since April 2015, and sections began opening to the public in early 2018.
Designated in 2012, Interstate 11 will overlay the U.S. 93 corridor from Phoenix to Las Vegas. The initial section runs from Hoover Dam to Henderson, NV.

1 Μαρ 2019 · Interstate 11 is a corridor ultimately planned to run northwest from Phoenix, Arizona to Las Vegas, with a possible extension north to Reno. On July 6, 2012, the Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act (MAP-21) officially mandated Interstate 11 as a future route to the Interstate Highway System per Section 1104.
5 Σεπ 2018 · After investing more than half a billion dollars over the past 20 years to turn the primary route between Phoenix and Las Vegas into a modern four-lane divided highway, the Arizona Department of Transportation has committed another $155 million for improvements to US 93 over the next five years.
I-11 is projected to become the Intermountain West Corridor, extending from Phoenix and Las Vegas through Reno to the Pacific Northwest via central or eastern Oregon and central Washington to the Canada–U.S. border.
