Interstate 11 (I-11) is an Interstate Highway that currently runs for 53.9 miles (86.7 km) on a predominantly northwest–southeast alignment in the U.S. state of Nevada, running concurrently with either or both U.S. Route 93 (US 93) and U.S. Route 95 (US 95) from the Arizona state line and Boulder City.
1 Μαρ 2019 · Interstate 11 is a corridor ultimately planned to run northwest from Phoenix, Arizona to Las Vegas, with a possible extension north to Reno. On July 6, 2012, the Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act (MAP-21) officially mandated Interstate 11 as a future route to the Interstate Highway System per Section 1104.
Designated in 2012, Interstate 11 will overlay the U.S. 93 corridor from Phoenix to Las Vegas. The initial section runs from Hoover Dam to Henderson, NV.
2 Δεκ 2020 · The first phase of the Interstate 11 project between Phoenix and Las Vegas – a 15-mile, $318 million segment in Nevada – has been under construction since April 2015, and sections began opening to the public in early 2018.
16 Νοε 2021 · Keeping a future Interstate 11 in mind, ADOT has invested more than half a billion dollars over the past 20 years to turn the primary route between Phoenix and Las Vegas into modern four-lane divided highway. 1 Μαρ 2024 · The 345-mile road trip from Phoenix to Las Vegas can be done in 5 hours and 40 minutes. On the way, you can visit Sedona, Flagstaff, Grand Canyon, Lake Havasu City, Needles, Lake Pleasant, Walnut Canyon National Monument and Mojave National Preserve.
5 Σεπ 2018 · It stated that the I-11 corridor will generally follow State Route 189 and Interstate 19 from Nogales to Tucson, Interstate 10 from Tucson to Phoenix, and US 93 from Wickenburg to the Nevada state line.
