Spirit is only bad when people book a no-frills flight and expect all the same benefits of other airlines they have flown. Be very aware of baggage policies, bring your own beverages/snacks on plane or expect to spend money, don't expect chairs to recline, and you will be fine.
Spirit is awful. It’s the US equivalent of Ryanair and would pull the same shit like floating plans to charge for use of its toilets if the FAA would let it get away with it. Reply reply
A little research will tell you that Spirit is a no-frills airline and just about everything has a fee attached to it. If people are saying Spirit is bad because of that, that's not on Spirit, that's on the individual traveler for not reading about what's included in the cost of the ticket or about what extra charges there are.
I’ve never heard about spirit having bad passengers. There’s really three complaints about spirit. First, they have a lot of fees. People think they’re getting a cheap fare then end up getting surprised with the extra fees. Second, they really pack seats together on the plane.
