I used to use Kayak for many years, but now they seem to host a lot of scam travel agencies that bait-and-switch flights. They take no responsibility when I contacted them and still host the scam companies.
Kayak allows a range of known scam travel agents to sell flights through their website and app. It is impossible to ascertain which are real companies and which are the scam artists - these are known scam travel agents selling today through Kayak: Trading names: CallForUmrah. Clickaholiday. Getacruise. Getaflight.
The scammers usually make unsolicited contact with people via Phone, WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn, or email, fraudulently using KAYAK’s brand name and logo. The scammers have also referenced KAYAK’s executive team members in order to solicit trust in individuals.
It looks like that both Kayak and Chatdeal are in cahoots with each other to scam people, which make even Kayak an company to unreliable search website for booking flights. I will contact BBB and use all the other means to make people aware of this scam company.
I receive an email confirmation about a booking that I did not authorize. I have contacted you all via email and your app, but no one has responded. I have contacted the hotel B OCEAN resort Lauderdale as well. They see the booking but refuse to cancel despite the policy allowing for a 72-hour advance.
Kayak is a scam! I booked and paid a rental car 5 months in advance, just to arrive in a foreign country on the day of my booking and learn from Europcar that the booking wasn't valid. I had to make a new booking and pay again directly with Europcar so Kayak stole $1000 from me.
