The Audie Murphy American Cotton Museum is located at 600 Interstate 30 East, in the city of Greenville, county of Hunt, in the U.S. state of Texas. It was established in 1987. Cotton was Hunt County's largest cash crop in the early 20th century, and the museum features a "History of Cotton" exhibit.
Located off Interstate 30 is the Audie Murphy American Cotton Museum. For over 20 years, the museum has explored the rich and fascinating history of the region taking guests on a journey of discovery from the heyday of the cotton fields of the 1880's to the battlefields of the 20th Century.
Home to the largest publically displayed collection of Audie Murphy memoriabilia and artifacts of Audie Murphy. Just 40 miles east of Dallas on U.S. Interstate 30, this museum is the location where most of the Audie Murphy Research Foundation's collection resides.
