Our service dog for PTSD program serves veterans with combat-related PTSD and first-responders with work-related PTSD.

  7. Working service dogs prescribed by the Department of Veterans Affairs are provided veterinary care and equipment through the VA Prosthetic & Sensory Aids Service. However, the VA does not pay for the dog or for boarding, grooming, food or other routine expenses.
