While Lake Placid is known for hosting the 1932 and 1980 winter Olympic games, the jumping complex, bobsled complex and other areas are still used every winter for National and International Olympic teams to train. During non winter times, you can take a wheeled bobsled ride, or walk the entire length of the bobsled run.
