The Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management is designed to prepare students for careers as administrators and managers in athletic, health, and country club industries, as well as entry-level management positions in college and professional athletic organizations.
SPMT 220 Olympic Studies. Credits 3. 3 Lecture Hours. History of the Olympic Games and their development over time; analyze, compare and contrast the relationship between the Olympics, cultures and societies; examination of central problems, accomplishments and collaborations revolving around the Olympics from a variety of viewpoints.
The curricula offer opportunities to obtain professional preparation for careers such as sport managers, clinical and applied exercise physiologists, exercise scientists, recreational leaders (in non-school agencies), sports marketing professionals, coaches, and athletic administrators.
