Indigenous organizations – Tkaronto (Toronto) Dashmaawaan Bemaadzinjin provides healthy, whole, fresh and traditional Indigenous foods to local Elders and Indigenous folks that are houseless and living in the encampments in Toronto.
It is also the world's largest agricultural forest park, in addition to two dams and a fishing pond, a greenhouse, suspension bridge, bird park and safari park, and can rent bicycles. Buses only travel on weekends.
Join the College Park Urban Gardeners (CPUG) in cultivating the brand new 650 square foot community garden in the newly renovated park. We grow vegetables, herbs and flowers, and are looking for your help to build and maintain this urban community garden in the heart of downtown Toronto.
