1 Ιουν 2021 · Specific vaccine product and administration codes have been developed for reporting immunization against COVID-19. Note that the COVID-19 vaccine administration codes specify first and second dose administration. Do not report immunization administration codes 90460 and 90461 or 90471–90474 for the administration of a COVID-19 vaccine product.
Providers can bill for this service utilizing the new HCPCS code M0201 for COVID-19 vaccine administration. This is to be used in conjunction with the appropriate CPT code for COVID-19 vaccine product and dose and can only be utilized if vaccination is the sole reason for the in-home patient visit.
