If you have questions or need help understanding how to check the status of your Social Security application online, call our toll-free number at 1-800-772-1213 or visit your Social Security office. If you are deaf or hard of hearing, call our toll-free TTY number, 1-800-325-0778, between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
You may still be able to use the online form. Contact your local Social Security office or our National 800# (800-772-1213) and after we identify you, ask us to provide you with the TAA, ID, and BIC.
