12 Σεπ 2022 · The patient presented 7 days after resolution of SARS-CoV-2 infection with typical, although mild, symptoms of COVID-19 with severe swelling and pain in the left ankle joint and forefoot. Based on the overall picture, ReA appears to be the most likely cause of the patient’s symptoms.

SARS-CoV-2 is likely capable of causing reactive arthritis. HOW THIS STUDY MIGHT AFFECT RESEARCH, PRACTICE OR POLICY. Physicians should consider reactive arthritis as a possible differential diagnosis.
