27 Μαρ 2024 · The Officejet Pro 9010 series printers have separate ink supplies and a fixed printhead. If any of the inks are depleted the printhead will become clogged and may be damaged. As a result, this printer will not allow any printing if any of the cartridges are empty.
Use the HP print driver to select the black and white (monochrome) or grayscale setting for your print job. Open the document or photo you want to print, and then click File > Print or the Print icon .
14 Νοε 2018 · If one or more color ink cartridges are low but not empty and you want to minimize the use of color ink, change the settings in the HP software to print with black ink only (grayscale). If you print with black ink only, the other ink cartridges must have ink for the printer to print.
If you are using the black cartridge, prints are in black and white (grayscale). If using the color cartridge, colors print normally but black prints lighter than usual. You can continue to print until print quality becomes unacceptable.
14 Μαρ 2017 · For users who wish to print using just black ink (despite the reduced print quality), many HP printers offer options. For example, a driver colour setting (by selecting "print in greyscale with the black cartridge only" in printing preferences) specifies printing using only black ink.
