You may bring one carryon bag and one personal item without charge (subject to the limitations below). The bag should be stowed in the overhead compartment, and your small personal item should be stowed under your seat. Sizing up your carryon and personal item: One carryon bag. Goes in overhead bin; Size limits: 24” (L) + 16” (W) + 10” (H)
If any portion of your itinerary contains an international flight and you plan to check luggage, you will be required to do so at the Southwest Airlines Ticket Counter upon arrival at the airport. You cannot checkin or check luggage at the curbside if traveling on an international itinerary.
Each passenger is allowed to check up to two bags, with a maximum weight of 50 pounds (23 kilograms) and maximum dimensions of 62 inches (158 cm) in overall length, width, and height. Please note that any bags exceeding these limits may be subject to additional fees or restrictions.
27 Μαρ 2024 · Southwest allows bags that are 62 inches in size (length + width + height) and up to 50 pounds. You can even check golf bags and skis, as long as they meet the airline’s specifications. Oversized bags max out at 80 inches, while overweight bags max out at 100 pounds.
