5 Φεβ 2024 · If it's more than 62 inches, then it's considered oversized baggage and will be subject to a $150 fee on top of your checked bag fee. And if your Spirit Airlines checked bag is more than 80 linear inches, it won't be accepted, period – unless it's a considered special item.
We charge for carry-ons, checked bags and overweight checked bags. We charge more for checked bags over 50 lbs. One personal item that fits entirely in the smaller sizer box (like a purse, small backpack, etc.) is included with your ticket.
25 Ιαν 2024 · Spirit Airlines allows one free personal item but charges different baggage fees for carry-on luggage and checked luggage based on: 1) when you pay for your luggage; 2) your flight route; and 3) your Saver$ Club membership (formerly known as $9 Fare Club).
3 Ιαν 2024 · Spirit Airlines bag fees are cheaper the earlier you pay. Paying for bags during the initial booking process or before check-in will save you money. If you choose to pay for bags during check-in or when you arrive at the airport, you’ll pay higher bag fees. It pays to plan ahead.
Bags purchased within 24 hours prior to departure will be charged at the online check-in rate, so buy bags early and save major moola. If you don’t check in online, our kiosks at the airport are self-serve and easy to use. Some Guests may not be able to complete check-in online (see below).
