Oversized items may not exceed 80 linear inches (203cm) in overall dimensions and are subject to oversized baggage charges beginning at 63 linear inches (158 cm). From December 1st through January 10th, items that exceed 80 linear inches will not be accepted.
5 Φεβ 2024 · If it's more than 62 inches, then it's considered oversized baggage and will be subject to a $150 fee on top of your checked bag fee. And if your Spirit Airlines checked bag is more than 80 linear inches, it won't be accepted, period – unless it's a considered special item.
3 Φεβ 2023 · For the purposes of deciding Spirit Airlines baggage fees and classification of your luggage, there are four different types of bags for travelers: A personal item , which could be a purse, laptop case or small backpack, etc. Dimensions must not exceed 18×14×8 inches (45×35×20 cm), including handles and wheels.
Current bag prices are available here. One personal item that fits in the smaller sizer box (like a small backpack) is included with your ticket. Another personal item or anything larger like a standard carry-on or checked bag will need to be paid for.
4 Ιουν 2022 · The only saving grace in the Spirit carry-on baggage guidelines is the size of bag you're allowed. Spirit says the bag can be up to 22 inches by 18 inches by 10 inches, which is a bit bigger than what United allows.
