1 Ιουλ 2023 · Spirit Airlines uses 4 boarding zones for loading its flights. In addition to those 4 numbered zones, Spirit offers pre-boarding to passengers in need of extra assistance and family boarding to families traveling with children 3 and under.
Spirit will randomly assign you a seat at check-in for free, but we can't guarantee that you'll get to sit with your friends or family. If Guests with children aged 13 and under do not opt to pre-select seats at the time of booking, our gate agents and Flight Attendants will work to provide adjacent seats when possible.

Families are eligible for family boarding when traveling with children 3 years old or younger. There are a few ways to move up in the boarding process to board in Zone 2.

Spirit's A320 offers two rows of "Big Front" seats which are larger seats at the front of the cabin. These "Big Front" seats offer an additional 6-8 inches of extra legroom and wider seats in comparison to the standard "Deluxe Leather" Economy seats.
