17 Μαΐ 2024 · WestJet encourages passengers to prepay for the first 2 pieces of baggage during booking or any time up to 24 hours before flight departure at a discounted rate. Checked baggage fees increase by $10 within 24 hours of departure or while checking in at the airport.
WestJet (WS) allows 1 carry-on bag and 1 personal item (purse, briefcase, laptop bag) per passenger fee free. Carry-on should not exceed the following size and weight restrictions: 45 linear inches (21 x 15 x 9 in) or 114 centimeters (53 x 38 x 23 cm) including handles and wheels.
For checked baggage, Westjet Airlines has different rules and limits depending on the fare type and the destination of the flight. For domestic flights within Canada, the first checked bag is subject to a fee, while the second bag and any additional bags will incur an additional charge.
