Spirit Air Review. I felt the need to post this because of everything I read previously about Spirit. My wife and I took a vacation to Cancun from 4/2 to 4/9. We were flying from Newark, and decided to fly Spirit because the prices to fly other airlines was literally a matter of thousands of dollars otherwise.
At spirit.com website there is one phone number available: 801.401.2222. I have carefully checked all menus and asked for "representative" but it appears that it is impossible to speak with a human. Has anyone spoken with a human by phone? Advice? I have emailed Zendesk for my issue.
Question. My wife and I are traveling with Spirit Airlines for the first time. I usually travel with Southwest because of its flexibility and the lack of extra fees. We didn't book any extra luggage; we decided to take advantage of the free carry-on option. We have about three pairs of clothes each.
Lounges are closed and perks are being trimmed so figure out what's important to you and find the airline that matches your needs. Spirit is fine and the big seat (i think that's what it's called) is about the same as business class on most 737's. If you're trying so save money, compare all the costs.
