  1. 21 Μαΐ 2018 · The prosecution argued Casey had suffocated Caylee by placing duct tape over her nose and mouth, CNN reported. A forensic pathologist, however, testified for the defense that the duct tape was placed on the skull after Caylee's body had decomposed.

  2. 9 Ιουν 2011 · An investigator from the Medical Examiner's Office decribes the scene where Caylee Anthony's remains were found.

  3. 16 Ιουν 2011 · Anthony, 25, is charged with first-degree murder in the death Caylee and has pleaded not guilty. The state says Caylee was suffocated by her mother with duct tape.

  4. This is how the prosection took duct tape found all over the scene and did a hypothetical recreation of what they thought could have happened. It was a gamble on the part of the state. Admit it. The duct tape was cut into strips. It could have been used to tape the blanket closed, after she was already dead. It was George's duct tape, also.

  5. The duct tape was also new… it immediately stuck to the hands of the forensic scientists and showed their DNA during the testing but DID not show any amounts AT ALL of Caylee’s DNA. If DNA decomposed as fast as you claim, they would have struggled to identify Caylee’s body at all.

  6. If I remember correctly, the duct tape was wrapped so tightly around her head that the skin underneath the tape did not fully decompose. I think it was still holding her mandible in place and there was still flesh there.

  7. Relying largely on circumstantial (i.e. non-eyewitness) evidence, the prosecution alleged Casey wished to free herself from parental responsibilities and murdered her daughter by administering chloroform and applying duct tape to her nose and mouth.
