27 Σεπ 2009 · Oct 3, 2009. #16. You can run 4S lipo with the stock ESC. Just plug in a nimh pack and set the ESC for nimh mode, then unplug it and plug in your 2 2S in series. Its stupid fast until it hits the "rpm limiter", but you can pull wheelies any speed. Just dont forget you wont have a LVC anymore.
If you want speed definitely go with lipos. Look for the 1/16 revo battery thread on this site and read that. I run 2 2s lipos in parallel for a total of 4000mah and get about 50 minute run times. If you want crazy speed then go with 2 3s lipos in parallel.
