The 2.7L EcoBoost is a turbocharged, direct-injection gasoline engine. This 2.7-liter V6 twin-turbo engine is produced in the USA at Ford's Lima plant in Ohio, but it originally was co-developed by German company FEV Engineering ( 3.5L EcoBoost V6 shares no parts).

1 Σεπ 2023 · MMR 2.7 Oil Filter Housing. I was done with the plastic oil filter housing as a few Oil Change places had tightened it too the point of stripping the nut so I went ahead and got the MMR Billet Housing. It didn't come with the Plastic Stem Piece.

19 Σεπ 2021 · Thread starter. #1. So I ordered 3 oil filters and performed my first oil change with Motorcraft FL-2062 filters. The one that came out of the engine had rubber caps on both ends. The one in the picture had the rubber caps. But, the 3 I received did not have the rubber caps.
12 Μαρ 2015 · There are no different sized 'cartridge' style filters available for the 2.7 egoboost. So, ANY brand that lists a PN for the 2.7 can be used. If the Belgium made filter is what your work has, then use it.
