The most common problems: you will need thin oil, otherwise lifters will die, EGR problems, exhaust manifold problems, Hemi ticking noise issues. What are Hemi eTorque 5.7 engines like? Are they good?
24 Απρ 2024 · The Hemi Etorque engine is special due to its fusion of a 5.7-liter V8 with an electric motor, granting 130 lb-ft of extra torque. This combo excels in low-speed torque, perfect for heavy loads and towing. The eTorque technology not only boosts performance but also enhances fuel efficiency by utilizing regenerative braking.
The 5.7L Hemi (code name is Eagle) replaced the 5.9-liter V8 LA/Magnum engine. In the next couple of years, this 345 Hemi engine became available in numerous models produced by Chrysler: Dodge Durango, Chrysler 300C, Dodge Magnum R/T, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Charger, and others.
8 Δεκ 2021 · While looking at signature lines here, I see a lot of people opt for the Hemi without eTorque. As it's a $0.00 option, why are folks opting out? Are there issues with it, or some other reason?
10 Μαρ 2022 · Hemi eTorque is basically the same Hemi engine but you will have a mild-hybrid construction in it with a special electric motor-generator that generates additional power. The eTorque system is very reliable and long-lasting.
