Kingston is bordered by the town of Pembroke to the north, Duxbury to the northeast, Plymouth to the south, Carver to the southwest, and Plympton to the west. Kingston is approximately 18 miles (29 km) southeast of Brockton and 35 miles (56 km) south-southeast of Boston. Kingston lies on Kingston Bay, an inlet to the larger Plymouth Bay.

Welcome to the official website for the Town of Kingston, Massachusetts. Kingston is a coastal community in Southeastern Massachusetts, located about 35 miles south of Boston. Prior to the Town's incorporation in 1726, Kingston was known as the North Precinct of Plymouth.
Kingston is a small residential town on the South Shore of Massachusetts. There are many historical sites that are associated with the original Plymouth Colony within its borders including the home of Governor Bradford and battle sites of King Phillip's War.
