I would suggest you to check if the sound is un-mute in yahoo messenger. To do this, follow the steps given below: 1. Double click on the sound icon you have on the bottom right corner of the screen. It will open all the application which requires sound. 2. Check if the application “yahoo messenger” is un-mute over there.
